Hallo Leute,
Lese zum ersten Mal was vom Iran, dachte immer in Indien und Brasilien sei die natürliche Radioaktivität am höchsten.

" Two survey meters show dose rates of 142 and 143 µSv/h on contact with a bedroom wall. "

" The highest indoor dose in Ramsar was 28μGy/h. On a wall surface it was as high as 130μGy/h. Based on an analysis by a γ-ray spectrometry it was shown that main components of radiations are Ra-226 and its daughter products. Daily dose for inhabitants there was assumed to be 0.19mGy/d, i.e., 71mGy/y. "

" Out-door dose rates were dependent on the distribution of hot-spring residues including Ra-226. In some places it was 22μGy/h at 1 m high and 73μGy/h on the surface."

Mit Radon oder ohne?  :o

ZitatThe radioactivity is due to the local geology. Underground water dissolves radium in uraniferous igneous rock and carries it to the surface through at least nine known hot springs.[15] These are used as spas by locals and tourists. Some of the radium precipitates into travertine, a form of limestone, and the rest diffuses into the soil, where it is absorbed by crops and mixes with drinking water. Residents have unknowingly used the radioactive limestone as a building material for their homes. The stone irradiates the inhabitants and generates radon gas which is usually seen to promote lung cancer. Crops contribute 72 µSv/yr to a critical group of 50 residents.[23]

Der Beschreibung und Meßwertdarstellung nach mit ohne. :)

" The indoor and outdoor gamma radiation ab-
sorbed dose rates in some parts of Ramsar range from 50
to 900 µGy/h, although other areas in the city have
absorbed dose rates that are much lower. The annual dose
to monitored individuals ranges up to 132 mGy, and we
have calculated maximum credible annual radiation ex-
posures of up to 260 mGy. "

Die Fotos sind aber wirklich sehr interessant. Ganz schön heftig die Dosisleistung in der Wohnung.  :o
