The process in the attached photos, maybe can be useful if you cutting Bicron BC plastic on your own.

and the finish with optical cloth

very nice!
does the paste has that blue color?
And which sand paper you are using? Only wet paper with grade 120 to 2000 ? or what are the recommendations?

These Bicron Plastic Szints are still only for counting, not for gammapectroscopy, right?
I was told that Bicron BC412 is used maily for gamma, but BC408 mainly for Alpha and Beta, but you need as well a Zincphoto plate to cover the szint´s top. The zincphotoplate emits a different spectrum that BC408 can register much better than BC412.

hope I understand that right...

Yes the paste is blue

I have used the regular white paper for laser printer and finish with optical cloth

wow, paper as sandpaper, that is nice!

Plastic application is for scintillationg counting or dosimetry.

I think you can apply zincphoto plate directly on photomultiplier and not need any plastic between
http://www.hep.ph.ic.ac.uk/fets/pepperpot/docs+papers/zns_602.pdf
because the ZnS(Ag) is the scintillator too with wavelength 450nm that PMT can detect.

goog to know, thanks a lot.

Well I have still some plastic scints laying around for further projects, BC408 and BC412 from 3inch to 30mm.

You are Alexey from rhelectronics, correct?
Are you able to show some of your products or is that not allowed due to marketing ? I think we need to ask DG0MG,
but I bought a couple of things from you and dont know where to start really...
